Pharaoh Casino to Be Built in Mt. Pleasant
The Pharaoh Casino will be located in Mt. Pleasant, SC near the Francis Marion National Forest. The casino will be a luxurious resort with all the amenities guests could want. There will be a hotel with several hundred rooms, ten restaurants, multiple bars, a spa, and a casino with gaming options for all types of players.
The construction of the Pharaoh Casino is expected to create over 1,000 jobs in the area and bring in more than $100 million in annual revenue. This will be a major boon to the local economy and is sure to attract tourists from all over.
There was some initial opposition to the casino from residents who were worried about traffic and crime, but those concerns have been addressed and it looks like this project is moving ahead full steam ahead. Construction is set to begin in early 2019 with an opening slated for late 2020.
Mt. Pleasant to Get New Pharaoh Casino
The Mt. Pleasant City Commission has unanimously approved a new Pharaoh Casino to be built in the city. The casino will be a $245 million project that is expected to create 1,000 jobs.
“We are excited to bring a new Pharaoh Casino to Mt. Pleasant,” said Darren Breen, CEO of the casino’s developer, J&K Development. “This project will create jobs and bring new economic activity to the city.”
The casino will feature a 125,000-square-foot gaming floor with more than 2,000 slots and table games. It will also include a hotel, restaurant, and live entertainment venue.
Construction on the casino is expected to begin in early 2020 and be completed by late 2022.
Another Casino Headed to Mt. Pleasant Area
Casino gambling is coming to the Mt. Pleasant area. Maryland Live Casino, which is located in Hanover, announced that it will be building a new casino in the area.
The casino will be located on a former shopping mall site that is now owned by The Cordish Companies. The new casino will be called “Live! Casino and Hotel Mt. Pleasant”.
The new casino is expected to bring 1,000 jobs to the area, as well as millions of dollars in tax revenue for the state of Maryland. It is expected to open in late 2019 or early 2020.
This is not the only casino planned for the Mt. Pleasant area. Another company, developed by The Cordish Companies, called “Live! Casino and Resort”, is also planned for the area. This casino will have a resort hotel and will be open year-round.
The addition of these casinos is sure to be popular with locals and visitors alike, as it will add even more excitement to the region.
Pharaoh Casino Picks Mt. Pleasant for Next Location

Who Will Win the Race? Pharaoh or Mount Pleasant’s Other Casino?
